We are delighted to welcome tutors and traders from all over Scotland and the North of England, and wish everyone attending Fibre Fest a wonderful weekend of fibre filled fun.
In 2020 we are offering classes in Machine Sewing, Felted Flowers, Japanese Sashiko sewing, needlefelting, sock making and gettimg to know your sewing machine. Classes are available for beginners and those with a little more experience. All classes must be booked in advance as space is limited.
There will be 'Make and take demonstrations' with the Yuza Sashiko Guild in the West Church Hall on Saturday and Sunday 14th/15th March. Many of the geometric patterns resemble blackwork, and all are made with running stitch. Come to the West Church Hall to have a go at traditional Yuza Sashiko! There will be a small charge for the materials and patterns, payable direct to Yuza Sashiko Guild.
The 2020 Competition - Get your thinking hat on!
This years competition is again sponsored by the Royal Dornoch Golf Club and the theme is a handmade ??????????. Use your imagination to create something from fibre, we look forward to seeing the results! Entries must be handed into the West Church Hall by 12 noon on Saturday 9th March.

Declutter your stash of crafting materials at our stall in the Dornoch Social Club over the weekend.
Turn your excess into cash (10% of each sale goes to DADCA).
Fabric, wool, haberdashery & equipment (no electricals or completed projects please).
SATURDAY 11 - 4 p.m. , SUNDAY 11 - 1 p.m.
