SCOTTISH TAPESTRIES AND BEYOND
Andrew Thomas Crummy MBE is a renowned Scottish artist, who has designed several major community tapestry works including the Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry (2010) Scottish Diaspora Tapestry (2014), Great Tapestry of Scotland (2013), and the Spirit of The Highlands and Islands Tapestry (ongoing) amongst many others.
We were very pleased that Andrew agreed to come to Dornoch Fibre Fest to present the keynote talk entitled
‘SCOTTISH TAPESTRIES AND BEYOND’
There was an exhibition of some of the Tapestries from ‘The Spirit of the Highlands and Islands Tapestry’ when Sue Gardiner (one of the volunteer stitchers) introduced Andrew to a packed hall on Saturday 9th March.
