Catherine is a crafter with a keen interest in felting in all its forms. Having taught a number of times at the Fibre Fest, Catherine will return to teach this useful wet felting technique. Wet felting is the magical process by which delicate unspun wool is converted into strong, practical felt.
Catherine will show you how to craft a small bowl from wool. This will teach you the basic techniques of wet felting which can be used to make pictures, bags, hats and scarves, to name just a few applications.
Please bring two hand towels, an apron and plastic carrier bag to take home your wet things.
