Masterclass 4: 'Dresden Plate' Patchwork Tutor: Keira McFleat

Keira McFleat has been a patchworker for over 25 years, and teaches patchwork and quilting at her shop in Lochcarron. She and her husband Bart opened Kiki's Craft Corner in 2011, and offer a wide range of materials and tools for textile and fibre artists.
In this class you will learn how to create a 'Dresden Plate' from a mini charm pack and use various techniques to create a lovely patchwork project which can be made into a table centre, wall hanging or be joined to other 'Dresden Plates' to make a larger quilt.
All materials to make the 13” x 14” 'Dresden Plate' are included and there will be different kits to choose from.
You will need to bring along a sewing machine with accessories (1/4 inch foot if you have one), machine sewing thread and usual sewing kit. Some rotary cutters and mats will be available but please bring your own if you have them.
