Masterclass Make a small travel holdall Denise Brown

Skills needed: Students will need some basic sewing skills, and will need to bring their own sewing machine.

Denise Brown is a seamstress who has a studio in Lairg and is presently training to be an upholsterer. She has been teaching various sewing classes over the last 5 years, is passionate about her craft and loves teaching it to others.
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to make your own small tweed travel holdall.
The bag will have a hard base with feet, zip outside pocket and open outside pocket. It will have a zip top closure and two handles plus a shoulder luggage strap. Fully lined and interlined with internal pockets and piping around the outside.
All other materials, including the tweed, will be provided, but please feel free to bring any material that you really want to use.
